One of the most common use outfit is the Seiyo Elementary's Uniform. Amu wears this uniform in her own style, instead of the normal way. (Tuck in shirt, tie tied correctly, different socks, and hair style) Her accessories matches with her uniform. One thing you'll notice is her hair clip. It's an 'x', which is her own unique symbol. It's red, just like her uniform. Amu puts her hair in many different ways. Some days, she'll use only one hair clip, and on other days, she'll use two hair clips. It varies on random episodes. Her hair clip is always red so it'll match her uniform. She puts her hair up high or sometimes low. (Clipping hair together in two strands)
One of the standing-out features of Amu is her red clip on her right arm. It his clipped with a normal clip. The clothing around her arm is also red, just like her uniform. Reasons for this is unknown. Most likely she does this so she can show her own style. No other Seiyo Elementary student wears this. It is not part of the uniform. To Amu's classmates, this is her "cool and spicy" clothing. In other words, this red cloth clipped on her uniform is very fashionable and very "cool". Amu only wears this on her uniform. The way how Amu ties her tie is not perfect. Other students would have it all the way, but Amu leaves it with some space between the tie and her neck. This way, it'll match with her belt, socks, and the red cloth on her right arm.
Another of the standing-out features of the uniform. Amu is the only student at Seiyo Elementary who wears a belt to school. This belt is most likely worn to show her style. The style of the belt is partly punk and black (the color) for gothic. She is also the only student who does not tuck in her shirt. It looks fashionable like this, though, because of the belt and how it is worn. For some reason, she does not get in trouble for not tucking in her shirt or for wearing extra accessories. (The red cloth clipped on her right arm)
This is the most unique part of the uniform, her socks. Her sock pattern is the same as her skirt. Therefore, it matches with her uniform. It's like leggings and it matches with her style. (The belt and her hair clip) Her socks are loose towards her feet.Actually, these aren't socks. These are actually leggings. The leggings goes up to her knees. The leggings stay in place with a mini-belt. (The black things on the leggings on her knees) This is also where the rumor started. The "coolness" came from her leggings and her red cloth on her right arm. Amu also decorates her backpack with a red belt-like string. Nobody does this at Seiyo Elementary. This is one of the standing-out features of her uniform. The way how Amu stands and carries her backpack is also unique. All Seiyo Elementary students will carry it in their hand, down. But Amu holds it on her shoulder.
Here is one of the very least shown outfit. Amu wearing the
royal cape. Amu only wore this because she felt guilty for not telling the other guardians about her x-egg and x-chara. The royal cape is only worn by the Guardians of Seiyo Elementary. The royal cape has the same pattern as the skirt and as her leggings. This matches with her uniform, but it doesn't match her style. This is why this is the only time she wore her cape. As you can see, the cape covers up her red cloth on her right side, her tie, and a small part of her belt. This destroys Amu's style. The cape make her look like a goody-good girl.
In the picture, you can see that the royal cape destroys her whole uniform. There is just too much red. In 'Outfit #1', the style is perfect because there is not too much of a certain color. All the colors are balanced. But in the picture you see at the right, there is just too much red and not enough of black. There is too much of the pattern. (the skirt, leggings, and royal cape)
The neck part of the cape is also not part of Amu's style. Amu prefers to have the collar more open, to give it a more punk style. The cape doesn't let her do that. Wearing the royal cape makes her look more formal than a punk. The cape doesn't match with Amu's hair style and her belt. The white shirt that isn't tuck in isn't matching with the cape either. Amu's style isn't formal, but because she wore the cape, it looks semi-formal but also kind of awkward. So when Amu said that the royal cape goes against her fashion sense, she was telling the truth.
| This is one of Amu's outfits that she doesn't wear very often. She wears this in Episode 33 to ask Miki which outfit is the best. As you can see, this outfit includes a black hair clip in the shape of an 'x'. Whe wears a choker around her neck which is black and it seems almost like a collar. Her jacket has a violet butterfly in the middle of the jacket. Towards the middle is the color white and the back is mostly blue. The jacket also has a hood which is all blue. She wears a skirt that connects with her shirt. The shirt is black with white pockets off the side. (Waist line) She also wears a pink belt to go with the skirt. The skirt goes up to her high thighs. It is actually very short compare to her other outfits. She wears long socks up to her thighs which are stripped pink and purple.
Her white pockets on her shirt are like two pouches for her hands if she gets cold. The jacket goes with this outfit so she can cover up her arms so that she won't look so indecent. As you can see in the picture at the right, her skirt defines gravity for some reason. (lol) You can see that the two main colors of this outfit is pink and black. When Amu wears this outfit to ask if this is a good outfit to Miki, she said no because of the blue, white, and violet part. (The jacket) Althought, this outfit still makes a very nice outfit to go out with. You can also see that her hair is clipped up. Her hair is mostly gathered form the center top of her head. It is the same hair style as Outfit #2. This outfit was shown while Amu is looking for an outfit to wear during her date with Tadase. Miki helps and gives her opinions on her outfits. Miki rejects this outfit. This is one of the few outfits Amu barely wears. *sniff* Hopefull she'll wear this one more in the future.

Another outfit that Amu barely wears. In this outfit, Amu wears a pink dotted magneta tank top that goes along with a small white sweater. Both doesn't have a collar. Her tank top also includes strings that goes around her neck. The small white sweater have wrist protectors at the end of it. They are black. She also wears black skirt which have a curvy pattern at the end of it. She doesn't wear any socks or leggings with this outfit. In this outfit, she goes with two red hair clips that clamps hair together. This is also shown Episode 33 when AMu is looking for an outfit with Miki's help. Miki totally rejects this outfit because it's not matching. The red hair clips turn off the outfit. Everything else is alright. This outfit is really actually plain.

| This outfit is only seen once so far. It was shown in Episode 33 when Amu is looking for an outfit to go with Tadase with Miki's help. In this outfit, Amu wears mostly black and white. She first wears a layered t-shirt. The first layer is white and then a black t-shirt with a printing on the back, colored lavender. The 1st layer also pops up underneath the black shirt and is all frissy. This part defines gravity. (lol) She then wears a blue skirt with a small white part on the bottom of it. This gives the outfit a nice feel of the color white. She thens wear black leggings that reach up to the middle of her knees and her ankles. This also gives a nice feel of the color black for her outfit. Her hair is clipped up to the side, not the center. The hair clip is red, which doesn't match with the outfit. She should have wore a black clip so it'll be much more matching.

This dress is only worn once during episode 33. As you can see, this is the most matching outfit out of all her other outfits. Though, Amu did not pick this one to wear to her date because it would make her seem desperate. (And yes, it would) She wears a lot of ribbons around her body parts in this outfit. (Her two legs and her hair) The outfit is very soft and gives a nice feeling of a loita person. It is really fissy and has a pattern on the red part of the dress. You can tell that the two main colors of this outfit is maroon and white. Amu also wears gloves with this outfit, which also have ribbons. She then wears a hat on top of her head with a big red ribbon top of it. The hat looks a lot like a box on her head. This dress is short-sleeved. The sleeves goes up to her upper arms and has ribbons around them. The corners off her shoulders are very puffy. There are also lots of strings in the center of her dress, which holds her dress together. Her hair is also curly so it can match with this outfit. (And it does matches!)

Her hair style is a small portion of her hair off the side is clipped with a red clip. (Doesn't match with the outfit) She also wears a stringed choker, tied around her neck. Her outfit is mostly black, but some parts are maroon with a pattern. There are also small portions of the color white on the outfit as you can see. They appear off the sleeves and the shirt. The skirt reaches up to her high thighs. Her skirt defines gravity once again. She wears socks that goes up to right below her knees. There are small portions of white near the knees. The shoes she is wearing are white. Her shirt is two-layered.

This is another outfit that is seen only once in the anime. She wears this in episode 33 while looking for an outfit to wear for her date with Tadase with the help of Miki. This outfit was easily rejected by Miki. It is obviously plain and not very appealing. This small dress is two layered. The inner layer is bright red, long sleeved. The second layer is black with 2 white strips. It also has two yellow dots and one pink dot on the dress, which does not look nice. The dress goes up to her high thighs, which looks very indecent and also very plain. She puts her hair into two small portion in the front. The hair clips, though, do not match with this outfit because the color of the hair clip is too dull to match with. The dress also defines gravity, it is floating for some reason.

Another outfit that Amu wears only once. She wears this during episode 33 while looking for an outfit to wear for her date with Tadase with the help of Miki. Miki easily rejects this outfit. In this outfit, Amu wears a t-shirt, long sleeved, mostly white, and small stripes of black. On top of that t-shirt, she wears a tank-top like shirt. it is black, but its outline is red and has a red string connecting to all the outlines. It also has white fissy on the edges of the outfit. This outfit really matches Amu. For the hair style, she clipped most of the center portion of her hair. The portion is located near her forehead. The red clip, though, does not match with the outfit. Therefore, it is too bright for the outfit.

This is Amu wearing a ballet costume. She was asked to wear this by Yaya's ballet instructor. After wearing it, the instructor said she looks beautiful and is perfect for ballet. Of course, Amu isn't good at sports and isn't flexible. She only sat in the costume. This outfit was wore only once when Yaya had to practice her ballet. The main color of this outfit is pink and her hair is pin up at its highest point. You can see that Amu isn't very comfortable in this outfit.

This is Amu's going-out outfit. She wore this when Yaya asked her to come over and help do Guardians Work, but it was actually to help babysit her baby brother. So far, this outfit is only seen once in the anime. Amu has two hair clips on her hair and clipped up two small portions of her hair. She wears a leapord-like outer-layer shirt, a black shirt underneath, an unique red belt, and red pants. Her shoes are black and white. She also wears a braceband on her left wrist and a silver heart necklace.

On her left side there are small pins, which are for fashion. Her tie and socks are blue. The skirt is very short and her boots have black laces. This outfit gives Amu a trendy tomboy-ish look. Her skirt is super short, which makes her look very fashionable.

This is Amu's outfit that was worn multiple times throughout the Shugo Chara Doki series. Her hair has a small pigtail off to her left side, tied with black crosses hair ties. Her shirt has a companion of hot pink, pink, black, and white colors. A white heart is in the middle of her shirt with black borders around the shirt.
This outfit matches Amu's personality and hair the most. Her pink hair matches her pink clothes. Her personality, as in her heart is pure and can sometimes be hot and sometimes be cold.

She also wears a top that has a lacy neck collar. A white part on her top and her sleeves are stripped with black and pink. Her skirt is black while her long socks are mostly pink with lacings at the top. It seems that it is tied with black strings to complete the outfit.

Her skirt is very short, so her socks are worn up to her thighs. Her socks are pink and her boots are black that are saggy. Her red scarf covers most of the white jacket, so not much is seen there. This outfit is seen only in the winter time of the anime.
