Ran is Amu's Guardian Character and is the first to hatch. She is Amu's desire to be more honest and athletic. She wears a cheerleading outfit, pink shoes, and her pom-poms. She is always saying "Go Amu Go!" to cheer her on to do something. Ran is seen cheering Amu on most of the time. In one episode, Ran is with Amu, but at home to stay with Eru. She does dances to wake up other Guardian Characters. When Amu character-change with Ran, she is very athletic. During character-transformation, she becomes "Amulet Heart". |
| Miki is Amu's Guardian Character and is the second to hatch. She is Amu's desire to be more calm, sensible and artistic. She often help Amu with her fashion and outfits. She is almost identical to Amu. She have the same love interests as her. (Such as: Kiseki, Yoru, and Musashi) During character-change, she suddenly has an artistic talent. During character-transformation, Amu becomes "Amulet Spade". She and Amu does the least amount of Character-Transformation, which causes Miki to draw Amulet Spade at random times. Miki starts thinking that she is the less needed personality. |

Su is Amu's Guardian Character and is the third to hatch. She is Amu's desire to be more caring and skilled in housekeeping. (Cooking, cleaning, etc.) Su makes tea/juice/food for Amu at random times, helping her to calm down and such. Su often makes mistakes and is very fond of Yuu Nikaidou. She helps him realizes his dream and help him purifies his egg. During Character-Change, Amu becomes skill in sewing, cooking, cleaning and becomes too girly. During Character Transformation, she becomes "Amulet Clover." |

Diamond is Amu's Guardian Character and is the fourth to hatch. She becomes an x-egg because of Amu's dislikes in the spring. She was later found with Utau and hatched. Diamond character-change with Utau to make x-eggs to come out of people's bodies. In the manga, Diamond's name is shorten to Dia. Diamond Character-Transformation with Utau is 'Dark Jewel'. In the last battle with Utau, Amu purifies Diamond and character-transform with her and becomes "Amulet Diamond". After the battle, she goes into her egg again, saying she'll become back when Amu "shines" again. |

Kiseki is Tadase's Guardian Character. Kiseki was born because of Tadase's desire to be stronger and his dream of world domination. Because of this, Kiseki is always demanding and calls the other Shugo Charas "peasants" or "royal subjects". He often calls the other Shugo Charas to "secret meetings" to do "Special Training", hunting for the Embryo. (Which are useless) Whenever an x-egg occurs, the other Shugo Charas ignores him and leaves him there. Kiseki hates Yoru. (Ikuto's Guardian Character) During Character Change, Kiseki helps Tadase to gain confidence and overcome his shyness. During Character Transformation, Tadase becomes Platinum Royale. |
| Yoru is Ikuto's Guardian Character. He has very cat-like features, such as; a tail, paws, and cat ears. He represents Ikuto's wish to be free as a stray cat. Yoru always cause trouble for the Guardians and is always by himself. He oftens gets hit by Ikuto by the index finger. When character-change, Ikuto gains cat ears,tails, and cat-like abilities. During Character Transformation, Ikuto becomes Black Lynx. |

Iru is Utau's first Guardian Character shown in the anime and manga series. Iru has devil-like features and is mean and not nice, hates nagging to Eru. She is seen bullying Iru many times until Iru ran away to Amu's house. During Character Transformation with Utau, they become Lunatic Charm. Because Diamond Character Transform with Utau more, Eru feels left out and lonely because she has nobody to play with and character transform with. During the last battle with Utau, Eru character transform with Amu. Together, they become 'Amulet Devil'. |
| Eru is Utau's second Guardian Character shown in the anime and manga series. Eru has angel-like features and is the complete opposite of Iru. Because Eru bullied her until she finally left, she wounded up at Amu's house and later character transform with her. Together they became 'Amulet Angel'. But because Amu is not Eru's owner, the character transformation quickly dispelled. Usually after become Amulet Angel, Amu is embrassed because of Eru's weird attacks against Utau. In the last battle with Utau, Iru finally character transform with Utau and became Seraphic Charm. |

Temari is Nadeshiko's Guardian Character. She wears a pink and purple kimono.At first glance, Temari seems like a proper lady, but when she character transform with Nadeshiko, she becomes very agressive and hyper. Their eyes become stars. When Nagihiko comes back to the Guardians to take the 'Jack' chair, Temari has gone into her egg. |
| Daichi is Kukai's Guardian Character. He was born because of Kukai's wondering of which sport he should do because he has so many sports to choose from. Like Kukai, Daichi is very good at sports. (All sports) He cannot sit still and is always doing something. When character-change, Kukai becomes even more athletic than he already was. The time when he visited the Guardians, he character-transform with Kukai with the power of the Humpty Lock, becoming Sky Jack. |

Pepe is Yaya's Guardian Character. When Yay or Pepe gets injured, they both start crying like real babies. When Character Transformed, they become 'Dear Baby'. Their attacks are not very useful. Her attacks are often related to baby toys. (Such as ducks and stuff animals) |
| Kusukusu is Rima's Guardian Character. She was born from Rima's desire to make other people laugh. She is often seen snickering and laughing. During Character Change, Rima automatiacally becomes a gag and do a signature pose while saying "Balncing Balance" from a magazine called Great Gag Manga King. During Character Transform, they become "Clown Drop". Her attacks kills the x-eggs and does not purifies the x-eggs. Her attack is 'Juggling Party'.

Musashi is Kairi's Guardian Character. He was born from Kairi's desire to be a samurai. He is very serious and polite. He oftens ask Kairi questions when he does something unrelated to the 'mission' and reminds him of the 'mission'. He also tells Kairi not to be close to the Guardians. When he Character Transform, they become Samurai Soul. |
